For his outstanding essay, Malachi has been awarded $200 by the Northwest District. He and his family have also been invited to attend the Louisiana Dare Officers Association's (LDOA) 29th Annual Conference at Hotel Bentley in Alexandria. On August 6, 2020 he and winners from the other seven districts will enjoy a meal with DARE Officers from across the state and be recognized and awarded by the LDOA for their achievements.
